From 1996 until 2010<br />
Studies and the beginnings of my practice<br />
I graduated at the University of Ljubljana, at the Faculty of Medicine, with the programme Dental Medicine in 1996. First, I began my career as a general dentist and later on, as a specialist in orthodontics, commencing in the Public Health Centres.<br />
In 2007, I completed my postgraduate studies at the Department of Orthodontics and Jaw Orthopaedics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ljubljana, under the mentorship of prof. dr. Franc M. Farčnik.<br />
From 2010 until today<br />
Since 2010 I have been working in my own outpatient dental clinic - Ortodent, located in two different<br />
locations in Slovenia, namely in Slovenska Bistrica and Ptuj.<br />
In 2017 I became an Invisalign Provider. The aligners system has intrigued me completely, so I was continuing my education at Master Coip with dr Ivan Malagon and dr Diego Peydro in Madrid and also, at Master aligner with dr. Pedro Costa Monteiro from Lisbon. Since the very beginning I have combined the aligners technique with my general orthodontic knowledge, like including TAD&#39;s Benefit and FACE -Roth Advanced Orthodontics principals in my therapy plans. In 2020 I became a Diamond Provider and an invited international Invisalign Speaker. So far, I have presented my knowledge at many lectures, in-office courses and Certification Courses for Slovenian, Croatian and Serbian doctors.
